Hi Don,
Great to see your Blog up and running again! I don’t blame you for wanting to be back in Athens. This image is tack sharp, great use of depth of field. I like how the roofline, wall and tables leading me from left to right through this image. The tree on the right of the frame is a perfect counter balance to keep me in the fame. My eye goes from left to right, up the tree, onto the sky and over to the top of the mountain, back to the roof line and tables in the foreground to start over again. This image needs to be seen large to appreciate all the fine detail in it. The quality of light is very warm and inviting. It might have been interesting to try a variant of this image with a person or a couple sitting at the corner table by the tree having a drink. I find the clouds a little grey you might what to make them pop more by having a true white point in them. I would also try to intensify the blue sky in post if possible. Great image it sure makes me wish I was there.
Dan
